Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Massage Therapist to join our medical spa team. The ideal candidate will specialize in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and have experience working in a wellness, post-operative, or medical spa setting. This role focuses on providing therapeutic and restorative treatments that support client healing, recovery, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) techniques to support post-surgical recovery, reduce swelling, promote circulation, and enhance detoxification.
- Provide a range of therapeutic massage services (Swedish, deep tissue, relaxation, or other modalities as appropriate).
- Collaborate with medical providers, estheticians, and other spa staff to support client treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
- Assess clients’ needs and create customized treatment sessions to address individual goals and health concerns.
- Maintain accurate client records, treatment notes, and documentation in compliance with spa and healthcare standards.
- Educate clients on aftercare, self-care techniques, and wellness practices to optimize treatment results.
- Uphold the highest level of professionalism, client confidentiality, and safety protocols.
- Ensure treatment areas remain clean, sanitized, and fully stocked in accordance with spa standards.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Massage Therapist (required).
- Certification or formal training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a medical spa, clinical, or therapeutic massage setting.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications related to MLD and post-surgical recovery.
- Excellent communication skills with a client-focused and empathetic approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based, medically aligned spa environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform massage treatments for extended periods.
- Comfortable with standing, bending, and repetitive hand movements.
