Seeking both part time and full time
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. This role goes beyond providing high-quality therapeutic massage — it also includes creating a welcoming environment, supporting clients at checkout, encouraging rebooking, and maintaining a clean, professional treatment space.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional massage therapy services tailored to each client’s needs and preferences.
Deliver a range of modalities (e.g., Swedish, therapeutic, deep tissue, etc.) within the therapist’s scope of practice.
Greet clients warmly and ensure a positive, relaxing experience from start to finish.
Handle client checkout, including processing payments and recommending retail products when appropriate.
Encourage rebooking by discussing ongoing treatment plans and wellness goals with clients.
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked massage room before and after each session.
Follow all health, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
Participate in team meetings, training, and continuing education as needed.
Qualifications
Current Maryland Massage Therapy License or Registered (required).
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
Previous experience in a spa, wellness center, or medical massage environment.
Confidence in rebooking clients and recommending wellness plans.
Comfort with light administrative tasks (POS checkout, scheduling software).

Requirements
Must have a Current Maryland Massage Therapy License (LMT or RMP) in good standing
Proof of liability insurance Ability to perform a variety of massage modalities (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue; specialty certifications a plus)
Strong communication and client-care skills
Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
Physically able to perform massages for extended periods
Willingness to maintain cleanliness and uphold spa hygiene standards
Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth
Applicants must already hold a current Maryland LMT or RMP license issued by the Maryland Board of Massage Therapy Examiners.
