We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, with the ability to provide exceptional patient service and pain management solutions. The Massage Therapist will work in a collaborative environment, focusing on the health and well-being of clients through various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans.
Provide high-quality massage therapy services, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address specific client concerns effectively.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients.
Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Uphold the highest standards of customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in occupational health and pain management.
Qualifications
Valid NY state license in massage therapy.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and occupational health principles.
Experience with various massage techniques, particularly deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
Excellent patient service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Ability to perform patient assessments effectively.
Previous experience in a med spa setting is a plus but not required.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
