Description
We are seeking a licensed and experienced Sports Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports massage techniques, musculoskeletal anatomy, and injury rehabilitation. This role involves assessing client needs, providing hands-on therapy, and collaborating with our team to enhance client recovery and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive sports massage therapy assessments and treatments tailored to individual client needs.
Utilize techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and stretching.
Develop treatment plans to aid injury recovery, enhance athletic performance, and prevent future injuries.
Maintain detailed and accurate client records in compliance with confidentiality regulations.
Educate clients on self-care techniques and injury prevention strategies.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or trainers as needed.
Uphold a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment.
Stay current with industry trends and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Hybrid work environment:
We have a brick and mortar clinic in Keystone Heights, however, if you'd like to do mobile sessions we can talk about that after 90 days.
In addition, this job requires some travel that will include helping at events and In-person class instruction/ networking etc. You will not need transportation to said events.
Requirements
- Valid Florida Massage Therapist License (LMT)
- Certification and/or experience in sports massage therapy
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology, and physiology related to sports injuries
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including some evenings or weekends
- Commitment to providing compassionate and professional care
- Self sufficient/ Self starter
